This mixed media piece explores themes of change, resilience, and renewal. At its center is a butterfly—a symbol that has long held deep personal meaning for me. Butterflies remind me that growth often emerges through life's challenges, and that transformation requires both courage and endurance.
During this time in my life, I was navigating significant change, learning lessons about strength, healing, and moving forward. Those experiences found their way into this piece, layered among the patterns, textures, and fragments that tell a story of becoming.
Awake represents the moment we begin to see ourselves differently—not as we once were, but as who we are becoming. It is a reminder that even through uncertainty, there is beauty in growth and hope in new beginnings.
