A Magpie couple decided to build a nest in my neighbour's tree. I didn't know what to expect. One morning there was a commotion in my yard and I heard a bunch of Magpie's making noise and my dog barking. I called my dog in and investigated. There perched in my larch tree was a smaller juvenile magpie who I imagined only fledged it's nest a few days before. The magpie's couldn't care less about me taking pictures.
This is a 8" x 10" picture on Lustre paper in a 11" x 14" mat
